Here’s a recipe for a Lion’s Mane Brain Booster smoothie:

Ingredients:

• 1 cup almond milk (or any other plant-based milk)

• 1 ripe banana

• 1 cup frozen blueberries

• 1 tablespoon Lion’s Mane mushroom powder (available at Keliza- health food store in Mahone Bay)

• 1 tablespoon chia seeds

• 1 tablespoon almond butter

• 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

• Ice cubes (optional, for a colder smoothie)

Instructions:

1. In a blender, add almond milk, banana, frozen blueberries, Lion’s Mane mushroom powder, chia seeds, almond butter, and honey or maple syrup (if desired).

2. Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the smoothie reaches a smooth consistency.

3. If you prefer a colder smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes and blend again until they are crushed and mixed in.

4. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately.
