Cilantro

This herb was found in the tombs of ancient Egypt. So the use must have been known for very long.

Today we definitely appreciate it for its ability to cleanse our body from heavy metals. As we have to face heavy metal pollution in our environment this is a great help from mother nature. Moreover it reduces the risk of heart disease, diabetes and due to its minerals and trace elements it is a treat for our skin and hair.

Put the fresh leaves into your smoothie or in salad. The dried seeds are a wonderful spice for cooked food.

It is easy to grow – even on a balcony.
