A FEW HOURS BEFORE A MATCH

Philipp (24) is on his way to become a teacher and has a passion for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I just met my son 3 days before his first official match in Hannover/ Germany. He shared his prep with me: top goal is to alkalize your body best possible before the challenge. And here is what he does:

– Drink lots of water and herbal teas to hydrate your body best, to get lots of minerals and to support your kidneys

– Take a daily 1-2 hours bath with baking soda (temperature does not matter) to help your body to detox via your skin

– Eat vegan to minimize acidifying food like meat and dairy

– Cut out stressful thoughts, discussions or mentally challenging situations to ease your mind and keep inner balance

– Go for 1-2 hours walks to maximize oxygen uptake and calibrate your nervous system (forest preferred)

Well – I don´t understand our everyday life as a battle but wouldn´t it be nice to support our bodies best for the daily routine?
